According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea are leading the race to sign Real Madrid star Isco, with a knock-down price of just £40 million being mooted.

The Spaniard continues to play a peripheral role at the Santiago Bernabeu, but his quality is undeniable, and he still has so much to offer at the very highest level.

Isco has notched up seven goals and seven assists in 40 appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos this season, although 12 of those outings have come from the substitutes bench, and with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale currently ahead of him in the pecking order, a fresh start at a new club might be just what he needs.

The Sun claim that the Spain international could be sold this summer, after being deemed surplus to requirements by Zinedine Zidane, and either one of Spurs, Chelsea and City could snap him up for just £40 million.

Barcelona won 3-2.

The 25-year-old is a wonderful footballer, and would strengthen any of the teams mentioned.

For the reported price of just £40 million, Isco would be a fantastic signing, and could prove to be a real coup for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
