According to Football Italia, Tottenham have made contact with Maurizio Sarri’s representative, Fali Ramadani, after sacking José Mourinho.
The Italian news outlet claim that the 62-year-old is eager to return to management, having remained unemployed since leaving Juventus.
Before leaving Turin in 2020, Sarri guided the club to the Serie A title.
Now, it seems as if Tottenham are sold on the Italian.
Football Italia say Spurs have contacted Ramadani to offer his client the job from the start of next season.
It is also said that a number of Serie A sides want Sarri too, including Roma.
Football Italia claim that Roma is the former Chelsea manager’s favourite destination, should he choose to remain in Italy.

Tottenham can take encouragement from the fact that Sarri has Premier League experience under his belt.
He won 21 of his 38 games in charge of the Blues during his one and only season in England, the 2018/19 campaign.
Sarri also guided Chelsea to a Europa League title.
However, Gary Lineker once hit out at the Italian for his treatment of N’Golo Kante.

Writing on Twitter, Lineker described Sarri’s verdict on the Frenchman as ‘nonsense’ in 2018.
His brand of ‘Sarri-ball’ was also frequently booed by Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge.
In that respect, appointing Sarri would carry a few risks for Daniel Levy, but he seems convinced, seeing as he’s already made contact.
