Tottenham Hotspur are way off in reaching a deal for Vedat Muriqi, or so it seems.
The Kosovo striker has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs in recent months, as Jose Mourinho looks for a plan-b option to fit-again Harry Kane next season.
But if a new report is accurate, they’re nowhere near signing Muriqi.
A Spor have reported that the North Londoners have bid £4.5 million for the Fenerbahce marksman.
Thing is, he is valued at around £22 million by the Turkish outfit [Fanatik] and therefore it seems unlikely that the reported offer is going to be enough to tempt Fener.
This is a risky move by Tottenham because if they’re genuinely interested, they can’t afford to play games.
That’s because A Spor added that Lazio and Napoli are also keen on the 26-year-old, meaning that they might not have the luxury of time here.
Football London have previously reported that despite Muriqi being open to a move to North London, the deal won’t be happening.
