According to Cadena SER, Tottenham are now willing to sell Bryan Gil, who only arrived at Spurs back in July 2021.

What’s the story?

Well, the 20-year-old was signed from Sevilla in a deal worth £21.6m, which also saw Erik Lamela join the Spanish side.

However, Gil failed to become a regular member of the starting XI under Nuno Espirito Santo, and things haven’t been much different with Antonio Conte at the helm.

In total, he has only made 20 appearances for Spurs.

Now, he’s been loaned out to Valencia, where he could end up staying.

Cadena SER believe Tottenham would be willing to listen to offers for Gil this summer, should any arrive in their inbox.

In our view, the chances of Valencia bidding seem high.

The Spain international has shone so far since returning to La Liga, and even earned comparisons to Valencia icon Aimar after pulling off a clean nutmeg on his debut.

Tottenham cannot lose Bryan Gil

In our view, Tottenham don’t understand how big a prospect they have on their hands.

Aged just 20, Gil has already been compared to Neymar by Barcelona scout Vaya Ballabriga, and has also amassed four caps for Spain.

He is a huge talent, one who could easily be worth £50m in a few years.

Gil hasn’t even been given a proper chance in north London yet, so it would be extremely harsh to offload him after just one season at Spurs.

If Tottenham do part ways with the exciting Spaniard, we’re confident they’ll live to regret it as he rises to the top.
