Tottenham Hotspur are said to want to sign Joaquin Correa from Lazio, with Gazetta claiming that his side would be willing to listen to offers for the attacker.

Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham United are all listed as suitors for the Argentine, who is currently playing at the Copa America.

Lazio would reportedly listen to offers of around £34 million for the rangy striker, although new manager Maurizio Sarri will ultimately have the final say over whether he stays or goes.

It was actually claimed over the weekend that Arsenal had made an offer for Correa of £17 million by Il Messaggero.

However, it now seems that Mikel Arteta’s side have Tottenham to worry about in the race to sign him.

Arsenal also would have to double their initial offer if they are to meet Lazio’s asking price for the forward, if the latest update is to be believed.

Advantage Spurs?

Tottenham may just have an advantage in the race, following the appointment of Fabio Paratici as sporting director.

Paratici has good contacts across Italy, and that could make negotiating a deal easier for his new side.

If Correa was brought to Spurs he would offer them more creativity in the attacking areas, and could play anywhere across the front four.
