Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up Brentford’s Lee Dykes as they consider replacements for the departed Fabio Paratici.
That is according to a report from the Daily Mail, who claim that Dykes is emerging as a real target for Spurs.
It’s again noted that German talent spotter Johannes Spors is another option for Tottenham.
Spors currently works for 777 Partners and is the sporting director of multiple clubs at the same time.
Dykes represents a different option having worked his way up through the English game to now hold a key role at Brentford.
The Bees are known for being superb with their recruitment and that was bound to lead to interest in their key decision-makers.
Dykes could now make a move from West London to the north of the capital, with Tottenham seemingly looking for an appointment ahead of the summer window.

Dykes hails from Yorkshire and started out as a youth coach with Rotherham United way back in 2007 – when he was in his early 20’s.
Dykes then turned to scouting, joining Crawley Town, Notts County and Oldham Athletic between 2011 and 2013.
Chief scout was the next big step forward for Dykes as he took on that role with Carlisle United, even stepping into an assistant manager role alongside Keith Curle.
Dykes was on the move again in 2018 as he became the sporting director at Bury, helping the Shakers win promotion to League One.
Sadly, Bury soon went out of business but Dykes wasn’t out of the game for long as Brentford made him their Head of Scouting.
Dykes stepped up to the Technical Director position last summer and takes on a key role in Brentford’s impressive operation.
Dykes has been hailed for having a ‘good eye for a player’ by Brentford’s Phil Giles and is well-valued in the Bees setup.
Still only 39, Dykes has made huge steps in his career and he could now end up joining Tottenham this summer.
