Tottenham Hotspur are now making their move to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan, Gianluca DI Marzio report.

Tottenham have apparently made contact over Skriniar, as they look to get a deal over the line.

Jose Mourinho wants another centre-back to add to his squad, and Skriniar is rated as one of his top targets.

Whether Tottenham will be able to pull off a deal remains to be seen, but reports in Italy suggest that Daniel Levy is looking to negotiate a price for the Slovakian.

At the moment Inter are wanting £55 million for their centre-back, which would make him Tottenham’s most expensive signing yet.

That price will surely have to be reduced if Spurs are to have any chance of landing him, but even if Levy gets him for half-price – he would still cost more than Sergio Reguilon, who has cost Spurs their highest fee this summer at £25 million (London Evening Standard).

The latest reports are actually highly intriguing, as it was reported just two weeks ago by FC Inter News that Skriniar didn’t want to move to Tottneham.

But it seems that Spurs still have a belief that they will be able to land the 25-year-old, who would help to bolster their defensive line significantly.
