Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies could be offloaded this summer – if an offer comes in for his signature.
Ben Davies may now be primed for the Tottenham Hotspur chopping block as Ange Postecoglou heads for North London.
That is according to The Telegraph, who claim that Postecoglou could oversee a huge squad overhaul this summer.
It’s suggested that Tottenham may now listen to offers for defenders Ben Davies and Eric Dier during this transfer window.
Postecoglou isn’t even confirmed as Tottenham manager yet but the Celtic boss all set for his move to North London.
The Australian will want to put his stamp on the Tottenham squad and that could mean a number of outgoings.
Hugo Lloris, Ivan Perisic and Davinson Sanchez could all go whilst there are doubts about Ryan Sessegnon’s future.
Loanees Arnaut Danjuma and Clement Lenglet may go whilst questions will be asked about Harry Kane’s future all summer long.

Offloading Eric Dier and Ben Davies could be a surprise
Postecoglou will want big changes, especially in order to play the kind of football he believes in.
Yet offloading experienced, long-serving members of his squad would be something of a surprise.
Postecoglou made Callum McGregor a vital part of his Celtic side and he has become the leader of the Bhoys side.
There may be an argument that Davies and Dier have been at Tottenham too long now having arrived in 2014.
In the case of Davies though, the Welshman does still have some versatility that could be very handy.
After all, Davies was branded a ‘vital’ player by Antonio Conte in comments given to Football London back in March.
Davies has featured as a left-sided centre back, left back and even left wing back in the last year alone.
Postecoglou has used his left back in an infield role at Celtic and Davies could have some ability in that role.
The 30-year-old may not be seen as an important starter but he is valuable thanks to his flexibility – and that’s something for Postecoglou to consider as he prepares to join Spurs.
