Tottenham Hotspur face competition in their efforts to sign Alassane Plea.

France Football report German side Borussia Moenchengladbach have made an offer for the Nice striker.

It is their second bid, with the first reported to be 18 million Euros. The second bid is claimed to be ‘slightly higher’.

French outlet RMC reported this week that Tottenham are keen on Plea and want to sign Loic Remy as a replacement.

Plea scored 22 goals last season for the Ligue 1 side and can play up front and out wide on the left.
