Tottenham Hotspur’s medics are now concerned about Harry Kane as he gears up to play for England tomorrow, the Telegraph say.
Gareth Southgate is about to risk the wrath of Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho be opting to start the striker, despite worries about his fitness.
Spurs’s medical team have been urging England not to pick Kane, as they feel that they risk injuring their star player.
Kane has been suffering with what is thought to be muscle fatigue over the week, and although he is fine now, Tottenham’s medical team are worried the problem could worsen if he plays on Wednesday.
But Southgate seems determined to get his captain back involved, meaning Spurs staff and supporters could face an anxious evening waiting to see if Kane makes it through the game unscathed.

Kane has been in blistering form at the start of the new campaign for Spurs, and if he was to miss a chunk of the season through injury it would be a huge blow to Tottenham, even despite the arrival of Carlos Vinicius this summer.
Tottenham are due to take on West Ham United at the weekend, and Mourinho will be desperately hoping that Kane will be fit enough to feature, despite his medical team’s worries.
