According to Kicker, Harry Kane has been made Bayern Munich’s top transfer target and initial discussions have already happened with the player’s camp about a potential move to the Allianz Arena.
The German champions are lacking a goalscorer right now. Robert Lewandowski’s departure to Barcelona has left them in the lurch and while Sadio Mane was meant to fill that void, the Senegalese forward has never been an out-and-out striker.
Kane is undoubtedly one of the very best in the world in this position, and understandably, Bayern are looking at him as one potential option.

Kane, of course, wanted to leave Tottenham this time last year due to the north London club’s failure to challenge for major honours, and while the ship has been steadied at Tottenham since the arrival of Antonio Conte, that elusive first major trophy still eludes Kane.
If any club in Europe can almost guarantee silverware, it’s Bayern Munich. The Bavarian outfit have won the last 10 Bundesliga titles, winning five DFB Pokal’s and two Champions Leagues during that time as well.
The reality is that the clock is ticking on Kane’s career, and if he wants to retire with a respectable trophy haul a move away from Spurs is necessary.
Of course, the Premier League goalscoring record is within his sights, so leaving Spurs for Bayern may not be an easy decision due to the legacy that will leave behind, but, the reality is that a goalscoring record can be broken – however nobody can take a winners’ medal from you once you have it.
This transfer may not be a question of loyalty or money, it’s a question of legacy, and when the time comes for Kane to hang-up his boots, does he want to have a few winners’ medals in his cabinet or does he want to risk staying at his boyhood club and potentially never winning a thing.
