Give Me Sport claim Tottenham will make Leicester star Youri Tielemans and Brentford playmaker Christian Eriksen their top two summer targets, if they manage to see off the challenge of Arsenal for fourth place.

Spurs currently sit in fourth place, three points ahead of Arsenal who have a game in hand. Antonio Conte has rid the inconsistency among the Spurs players, winning seven of the last nine – and four wins in a row.

Tielemans, 24, is about to enter the last 12 months of his contract at Leicester and GMS say the Foxes will entertain offers of around £30million for the 49-time Belgium star. Eriksen, is out of contract at Brentford.

Following his return, he penned a six-month deal at Brentford and has shown he is just as good as he was before he collapsed at Euro 2020. GMS say Spurs will make the duo their top two targets, if they get fourth.

Tielemans and Eriksen: Where else do Tottenham need to strengthen?

Adding Tielemans is a real coup for Spurs, even after his disappointing display for Leicester against PSV last night. He fits into the criteria – young, but with experience. Eriksen is already a Spurs icon, and it makes sense.

He starred under Antonio Conte at Inter as the Nerrazzuri won Serie A. Spurs also need competition for Ben Davies on the left of the back three, cover for Harry Kane, and a replacement for Pierluigi Gollini.
