Tottenham’s injuries have influenced transfer decision.

Tottenham Hotspur have decided to take Fernando Llorente off the transfer market, The Evening Standard report.
The report states Spurs had been trying to shift Llorente and his £100,000 per-week wages off their books.
Harry Kane’s injury has left Tottenham’s striking options stretched.
The club’s top goalscorer went down in the final stages of the defeat to Manchester United clutching his ankle and is set to undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury.
Heung-Min Son is now at the Asian Cup, while manager Mauricio Pochettino has made clear he does not intend to play Vincent Janssen at all.

Llorente’s Tottenham contract expires at the end of the season and he will not be offered a new deal.
For now, he clearly has a role to contribute, possibly his biggest since signing for the club.
It’s a chance for him to really earn his big wages, and put himself in the shop window for the summer.
Tottenham suddenly can’t afford to sell him, and their changing stance makes sense, rejecting the chance to make a small fee for the short term benefit of the team.
