Gareth Bale’s move to Tottenham Hotspur is now complete, the Daily Mail claim.
Tottenham and Real Madrid have been thrashing out a deal for the Welshman over the past two days, with Jose Mourinho said to be the driving force behind the move.
Mourinho was keen to add more firepower to his attack and told Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to get the deal done.
Spurs have now apparently agreed to pay over £13 million in wages to take Bale for the year, with the announcement of the news expected soon.
The news comes as a major breakthrough for Tottenham, and should delight supporters of the North London club.

Bale remains one of the biggest icons in recent Tottenham history and his return should make them much more dangerous going forward.
Bale actually should be announced before the weekend, the Mail report, but given his lack of game time – it would be highly unlikely that he starts for Tottenham against Southampton on Sunday.
