Tottenham Hotspur allegedly offered the PSG ace a lucrative package.

According to a report from Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham offered Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot a lucrative package to join them in the summer, only for the Frenchman to choose a switch to Barcelona instead.
French media outlet Le Parisien claims that Rabiot, 23, has all but reached a pre-contract agreement to join Barca in the summer, when his contract with PSG would have expired.
An that will be a real blow to Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs.
Mundo Deportivo claims that Tottenham offered the midfielder somewhere in the region of £133,000 per week, and considering that he would have not commanded a transfer fee, he would have been a real bargain signing for the north London outfit.

It will now be very much a case of back to the drawing board for Mauricio Pochettino, and he will surely be looking to bolster his central midfield ranks either next month or during the following transfer window in the summer.
Quite who the Argentine is targeting, however, and how much he has available to spend, remains a mystery.
