Tottenham Hotspur have Erik ten Hag on their shortlist of potential replacements for Jose Mourinho, Football London reports.
Tottenham are said to be looking for a modern manager, who promotes attacking football following the departure of Mourinho and Ten Hag ticks a lot of boxes.
The Ajax boss was actually linked with the Spurs job prior to Mourinho’s arrival, but nothing materialised at that time.
Now though, the 51-year-old Dutchman could come back into their thinking.
Tottenham, of course, were the team who broke Ten Hag’s heart back in 2019, when they staged the most dramatic of comebacks in the Champions League semi-final against his Ajax side.

But prior to that tie he did call them an ‘amazing team’ (Fotmob).
His arrival would likely excite Tottenham supporters too.
Ajax have played some of the most attractive football in Europe in recent seasons, and Ten Hag has helped to develop players like Hakim Ziyech, Matthijs de Ligt and Luuk de Jong along the way.
