Tottenham Hotspur are said by TeamTalk to be leading the chase to sign Fabio Carvalho from Fulham alongside Liverpool.
Carvalho in demand
Tottenham transfer chief Fabio Paratici insisted yesterday that he has not spoken to Antonio Conte about potential additions.
However, it seems that Spurs are working on a deal to get Carvalho snapped up in January.
The 19-year-old Fulham attacker may not be purchased to go immediately into Tottenham’s first-team, but as a player who could have a big impact in future years.
Liverpool are said to be confident of getting him, but TeamTalk insist that the battle is on for the England youth international, who has just months remaining on his current deal.
Carvalho’s scoring record for Fulham is superb, he has hit four goals in six senior matches to alert teams to his potential.
Booed by his own fans

The problem for Carvalho is his desire to leave seems to have turned some Fulham fans against him.
The youngster was booed by a section of his own supporters last night when he came on against Blackburn Rovers in a 7-0 victory.
If Carvalho does join Spurs he will want to avoid going down a similar route to Jack Clarke.
Tottenham plucked Clarke from Leeds United after he impressed in the Championship, but he has failed to really make any sort of impact in Spurs’ first-team.
And Carvalho needs to ensure that he picks a team who will provide him with first-team chances if he is to make a switch.
