Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are among five Premier League clubs hoping to sign Vojvodina wonderkid Dejan Zukic this summer, according to the Daily Star.
With the 19-year-old midfielder labelled the ‘new Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’ back home in his native Serbia, you should already have a good idea what to expect from this Eastern European starlet.
Zukic, like the £50 million-rated Lazio talisman, is a player who makes even the most difficult thing look as easy as taking a breath. He slaloms through challenges like a gazelle escaping a pride of blood-thirsty lions, before carving apart an opposition defence with an inch-perfect through ball.
With six goals in all competitions this season, Zukic already has an ruthless streak too – something which many players ten years his senior are yet to master.
It is no surprise, then, that some of Europe’s biggest clubs are sending scouts to Serbia’s second largest city.

The Star claims that Southampton, Everton, Leicester City and Arsenal are all interested, though Tottenham are at the front of the queue as it stands.
Perhaps the North London giants think Zukic can be moulded into a the becoming Christian Eriksen’s long-term successor. He certainly shares a few similarities with the departed Dane.
Then again, Mikel Arteta, Ralph Hasenhuttl and Brendan Rodgers all have fine track record when it comes to improving fresh-faced youngsters, from Bukayo Saka to Timo Werner, Moussa Dembele to James Maddison.
Zukic is spoilt for choice.
