Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly face competition for the Colombian from both Arsenal and Leicester City.
Inter Milan’s Jeison Murillo
A report emanating from Italy today claims that the Gunners and the Foxes have joined Spurs in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.
The 24-year-old Colombian has enjoyed a superb season with the Nerazzurri, from a personal perspective at least, and is one of Europe’s most highly sought-after defenders.
Tutto Mercato Web reported earlier this month how Tottenham scouted Murillo, with a view to making a summer bid for the centre-back.
Calcio Mercato now claim that Mauricio Pochettino will have his work cut-out, if he hopes to bring the Inter defender to Spurs this summer, with Arsenal and Leicester both keen on bolstering their defensive options by signing Murillo.
The Lilwhites will surely hold an advantage on the other two sides in their pursuit of the Colombian ace, with Champions League football all but secured.

Despite the Gunners’ struggles through, they still have a certain kind of pulling power, and could easily upset their bitter rivals in the chase for the 25-capped international.
Leicester are arguably the side in most need of fresh blood in the central defensive area, however, and would be in a position to offer the Inter Milan centre-half more regular first team football than the other two Premier League clubs.
Murillo is incredibly strong in the air, and quick along the ground, and will be a fantastic addition to whichever club wins the race for his signature.
