Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Scott Parker over a coaching role.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Scott Parker about a return to the club as a coach after he announced his retirement.
Parker, 36, called time on his career on Wednesday evening, bringing an end to his 20-year professional career having turned out for Charlton, Norwich Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham and Fulham.

The former England midfielder still managed to play more than 30 games for Fulham last season, but he clearly felt that the time was right to hang up his boots.
Parker will now be looking for a route into coaching, and the Daily Mail report that he is in talks with Tottenham about a return to the club in a coaching capacity under Mauricio Pochettino.
Parker joined Spurs from London rivals West Ham back in the summer of 2011, and he spent two years at White Hart Lane, making more than 60 appearances for the club before being sold to Fulham in 2013.
It’s claimed that Parker is still highly regarded in the Tottenham ranks, and having trained for his coaching badges under Spurs coach John McDermott, a return to his former club could be on the cards.

However, it’s also noted that Parker has other options to consider before making a concrete decision, and Spurs hope that he will choose a return to North London as his next move.
Parker could be a strong influence on Tottenham’s young midfielder Harry Winks, with Pochettino seemingly looking to call on his experience in the Premier League and for England to help his Spurs youngsters.
