According to a report from Sky Sports, Tottenham are in talks with Real Madrid over the possibility of signing Dani Ceballos.
The 22-year-old midfielder doesn’t seem to have much of a future at Real Madrid, after Zinedine Zidane’s recent spending spree, and he would be a really fine addition for Spurs.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has already spent big this summer, bringing in Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, and it seems as though his business is far from being done.
Sky Sports claims that the north London outfit are very keen on signing Ceballos, and remain in talks with Madrid over the possibility of prising him away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Spain international would prefer a loan move to Tottenham, however, rather than a permanent switch.
Spurs officials are trying to convince the Madrid ace that his future lies in north London though, according to Sky Sports.
Perhaps a loan move with an option to buy will be the best outcome for all parties involved.

And Ceballos will undoubtedly need assurances that he will be played regularly, if he is to join Tottenham, whether that be on loan or permanently.
This deal seems to have all the hallmarks of a transfer saga that will keep going on and on until deadline day.
And Tottenham fans will be hoping that Daniel Levy can work his negotiating magic once again.
