Erik Lamela has three years left on his current deal and Spurs are in no rush to offer new terms, according to the Telegraph.
Tottenham were rumoured to be in talks with the Argentine over a new deal in recent months – as reported by the Daily Star – with it thought that his current contract expired in the summer of 2018; less than two years away.

The Telegraph’s report now claims that Lamela’s initial four-year deal had two option years included which have been activated, meaning his future is secured until 2019.
Renewing the 24-year old’s contract is not deemed a pressing issue and the club’s attention is focused on tying down the likes of Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen.
