Harry Kane worried quite a lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans back in April.
Speaking during an Instagram Q & A, the Spurs striker refused to commit his future to the North London club for the long term.
Kane is one of the best goalscorers in Europe but is yet to win anything with Tottenham.
And considering he turns 27 next month, the red-hot striker, who said he prioritises the Premier League title over individual accolades, may want to move if the Lilywhites aren’t as ambitious as him.
It looks like Tottenham are safeguarding themselves in the event that Kane does actually leave and, according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Londoners have identified Napoli marksman Arkadiusz Milik has a potential replacement.
The Italian publication claims that Spurs have even made calls about signing the 26-year-old, but that he wouldn’t be joining the Premier League club as Kane’s team-mate, more his replacement.
Milik is certainly a good player but, in terms of goalscoring Kane is on another level entirely.
The Pole has scored 37 Serie A goals since the start of the 2016-17 season. In the same time, Kane has netted 88 in the Premier League.
Is he good enough to replace Kane at Tottenham? Going by the goals, no.
