Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Liverpool in the Champions League final, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side staging a huge comeback.

Winks has been out with injury for weeks now and the Spurs midfielder had to undergo surgery on a groin problem recently.
There was a feeling that once Winks went under the knife that his season would be over, even though the Tottenham academy graduate was determined to play again this term.
And it seems that Winks could be winning his race to comeback this season.
The 23-year-old midfielder has made good progress on his recovery, and is now set to be fit to play for Tottenham in Madrid.

Spurs will face Liverpool on June 1st and Mauricio Pochettino could have both Winks and Harry Kane back and available for selection.
Whether Winks will have enough in the tank to start for Spurs by then remains to be seen.
But he is expected to be back in time to play against Liverpool, and that will increase Pochettino’s options in midfield considerably, ahead of arguably the biggest night in Tottenham’s history.
