Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane could be back earlier than expected for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Kane damaged his ankle against Manchester United and there were fears that the Spurs striker could be out until March.
However, sources close to the clinical forward insist that he is making good progress in his bid to return.
Kane could now feature for Tottenham before initially expected, if he continues to heal at his current rate.
The England captain’s return ahead of schedule would be a major boost for Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino, with the side struggling badly with injuries right now.

Kane and Dele Alli are both out, but the return of Heung-Min Son from international duty should at least improve Tottenham’s forward options in the coming weeks.
Tottenham have gone out of both the FA Cup and the League Cup in the past week, in what has been a disappointing run of results for Pochettino’s men.
Spurs are next in action tomorrow evening when they take on Watford at Wembley.
