Tottenham Hotspur are keen to increase their revenue streams in Asia.
According to a report in The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur players have been left unhappy with Daniel Levy’s plan to take them to Hong Kong after the season finishes.
Tottenham’s players are expected to have an extra game added on to the end of their campaign, as Levy looks to increase his side’s revenue streams abroad.
Spurs have worked hard to improve their standing in Asia in recent times, and a trip to Hong Kong could be a potential money spinner.
But Tottenham’s first-team squad are believed to be frustrated with having the length of their season extended.
Spurs are set to travel to Hong Kong to play a friendly in late May or early June, with the match set to be the final one of the 2016/17 campaign.
With many of Tottenham’s players actually away on international duty at that time, the players who will be involved are believed to be questioning the value of playing the friendly.
Spurs are also set to visit America during pre-season, as they look to increase awareness of them overseas.
