Tottenham Hotspur are said to be stepping up their chase for a new forward this month now.

Spurs are set to be without Harry Kane for weeks, after the forward damaged his ankle in Mauricio Pochettino’s side’s last match against Manchester United.
Tottenham are also without Heung-Min Son for the rest of the month, as he is at the Asian Cup.
And Spurs are now said to believe that Malcom could be a good option for them.
Malcom move to Barcelona for £36.5 million in the summer (Daily Star), but has made little impact at the Nou Camp, and was offered to Chelsea last week.

It was reportedly Barca’s decision to try and swap Malcom with Willian that alerted Tottenham to his potential availability.
And Spurs could now swoop for Malcom in the near future, as they look for a new striker to bring to the club this month.
