Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante.

Mauricio Pochettino has made signing a new play maker one of his top priorities, and Atalanta’s Bryan Cristante is said to have caught their eye.
Tottenham have been tracking the 23-year-old all campaign, with his form in Serie A impressing.

Cristante has scored 11 goals and claimed two assists in 37 appearances across all competitions for Atalanta this term.
The attacking midfielder is on loan at Atalanta from Benfica, and Spurs are confident that a deal could be done with the Portuguese club for the former AC Milan trainee.

Tottenham actually had scouts at England’s friendly match with Italy in the hope that Cristante would play, but he was not bought off the substitutes’ bench.
If Cristante was to arrive at Spurs, he could slot into Pochettino’s side in central midfield or as a number 10.
