Ajax want £45 million if they are to sell Davinson Sanchez and are in no hurry to do so.
The high exchange rate means this will cost Tottenham Hotspur £45 million, £15 million above their current record transfer.

Sanchez has agreed personal terms with Spurs on a five-year deal it is claimed, but the two clubs are still ‘miles apart’ in their valuation of the player.
The centre-back signed for Ajax from Nacional last summer and has established himself as a key part of their XI.
Sanchez has also rejected a new contract offer from Ajax but returned to training earlier today.

Ajax’s demands are a big test of Tottenham’s ambition, and it would offset the big fee received for Kyle Walker this summer from Manchester City.
Tottenham have the money available but whether they wish to spend the whole Walker fee on Sanchez may depend on their recruitment plans for other areas in the team.
