Tottenham Hotspur are said to be willing to allow Moussa Sissoko to leave this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to use Moussa Sissoko as bait in trade deals to land their top targets this summer, according to the London Evening Standard.

Spurs already have targets lined up, with Mauricio Pochettino making no secret of his desire to add quality to his squad.

Sissoko has been used regularly at Spurs this season, but if Pochettino gets his way, then the French midfielder may have no role to play next term.

Tottenham are eyeing up wingers and central midfielders, which could block Sissoko’s route to the starting line-up.

But Spurs are thinking of a cunning plan to get rid of Sissoko, rather than simply selling him.

The French midfielder will firstly be offered to clubs in part-exchange deals for Tottenham’s top targets.

According to the Daily Mirror, Sissoko is on a £95,000-a-week deal at Spurs, and those wage demands could put him out of the reach of many clubs.

But Tottenham are still reportedly hoping to use Sissoko as a sweetener in potential transfer deals, with the 28-year-old now looking likely to leave the London club in the coming months.
