Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Alfie Mawson from Swansea City in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Alfie Mawson from Swansea City in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Tottenham will make an offer of £15 million in order to secure the services of Mawson.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly been in touch with Swansea regarding the transfer of the 23-year-old central defender.

“Pochettino wants an extra defender — preferably good on the ball — to back up his two main centre-halves and possibly replace Toby Alderweireld if he is sold,” adds the report in The Sun.
Mawson is a promising and talented centre-back, and his progress at Swansea since his move in 2016 has been remarkable.
The Englishman is probably not ready to start regularly for Tottenham right now, but he could become an important player for the North London outfit in the coming years.
Leaving Swansea for Tottenham would be a step-up for Mawson, although the 23-year-old would have to take into account the fact that he would have to start next season as a substitute player at Spurs.
Tottenham will be aiming to win the Premier League title next season as well as make an impact in the Champions League.
