Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal to bring in Jack Clarke from Leeds United.

According to a report in The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur believe that Leeds United winger Jack Clarke could have a similar impact to Dele Alli at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham are close to landing Clarke, with the winger on the verge of an exit from Leeds.

Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of Marcelo Bielsa, and has reportedly received a recommendation from him about the 18-year-old.

There is now great excitement around Tottenham about what Clarke could do at White Hart Lane.

Alli moved to Spurs from MK Dons in 2015 and he enjoyed a quite remarkable first season with the Lilywhites, where he went on to almost instantly become a key player.

Tottenham are hopeful that Clarke could do similar, as they are huge admirers of his talent.

Whether Clarke will be afforded as much game time as Alli was remains to be seen, but he does posses a skill set which makes him an exciting prospect.

Clarke loves to run at defenders, and if he does play with the same confidence that he has shown at Leeds, he has a very good chance of being a hit with the Tottenham crowd over the coming years.
