According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are big fans of Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen, but he could cost £50 million.

Tottenham are on the hunt for a new centre-back, and Andersen has emerged on their radar.

Andersen is only 22, but he has impressed in Serie A this season, where he has caught the eye in the heart of Sampdoria’s defence.

Tottenham feel that the giant Dane could be a good addition to their squad, but they realise his price could be prohibitive.

Spurs are though to have money to spend this summer, but Sampdoria want a huge fee for Andersen.

The Mail claim that Spurs could opt to move for Luiz Felipe of Lazio instead, as he would be available for a third of the price.

Tottenham are also still interested in Everton’s Micheal Keane, but he would also be a very expensive signing.
