Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be keen on Bruno Fernandes.

Spurs are eager to sign Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon this summer, as they feel he would be a strong replacement for Christian Eriksen.
Fernandes’s agent, Miguel Pinho, was in London on Wednesday evening, as Tottenham made a significant step forward in their bid to sign the playmaker.
The Telegraph claim that Giovani Lo Celso is also on Tottenham’s list, but they are closer to a deal for Fernandes at this moment in time.
Tottenham currently appear to be leading the race for Fernandes, but their move to speak with his agent may spark Manchester United into action.
Sporting are believed to be hoping that United do respond to Tottenham’s interest to spark a bidding war, but the Portuguese international may be available more cheaply than first expected.

It has been widely reported that Fernandes would cost Spurs £70 million, but the Telegraph claim that a £45 million deal is more likely.
At that price Fernandes looks like a potential bargain addition for Spurs, and the transfer may well appeal to Daniel Levy.
Fernandes tore apart Portugal last season, when he scored a staggering 31 goals.
If he could repeat those sort of figures in England then his value would sky rocket almost instantaneously and the transfer now looks very attractive for Spurs.
