It has been reported that Inter want to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham and are offering Skriniar as part of the deal.
However, according to the report, Spurs are struggling to meet the salary demands of the Slovakia international central defender.
Inter Milan spell
Skriniar joined Inter from fellow Italian club Sampdoria in the summer of 2017.
The Slovakia international has established himself as an important player in the Nerazzurri team.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has played 31 times in Serie A and six times in the Champions League for Inter this season.
In 2018-18, the Slovakian plays 35 times in the league, while in 2018-29, he played in 38 league fixtures, according to WhoScored.
Need for a central defender
With Jan Vertonghen having left Tottenham this summer, the North London club do need to sign a new central defender.
Skriniar is a very experienced player and is still only 25 years of age, and he would be a very good signing for Jose Mourinho’s side, not just for now, but in the long run as well.
