Reports in France are suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are entering the race to sign Portugal midfielder Adrien Silva.

However, the report also mentions the interest of Everton and AC Milan and the fact Spurs will need to sell to buy.
Spurs have plenty of midfield options but there have been rumours throughout the summer regarding the futures of players such as Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb.

It could be argued that Silva, 27, would be an upgrade on the pair as Spurs build a side to compete on both a domestic and European front at White Hart Lane.
Silva featured in four games for Portugal as they won the European Championships this summer. He also played a major role, scoring eight goals, as Sporting came second in the Portuguese league in 2015-16.
