Report: Tottenham Hotspur ready to make £30m bid for William Saliba

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly interested in William Saliba of Saint-Etienne.

According to The Sun (print edition, Saturday, page 67, June 29, 2019), Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a bid of £30 million for William Saliba and sign him before Arsenal.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Saliba has agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

However, the Gunners and Saint-Etienne have yet to agree on a fee over the transfer of the 18-year-old, and Tottenham are ready to make an offer of £30m to hijack the deal, according to the report.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Saliba is a very good and promising young central defender who would be a good signing for Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Spurs look good at the back at the moment, but the North London outfit need to look forward to the future.

The France Under-20 international made 13 starts and three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Saint-Etienne last season, according to WhoScored.

Spurs finished in the top four of the Premier League last season and also reached the final of the Champions League.
