Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for the Portuguese attacker.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Tottenham Hotspur are “more and more likely” to make an approach to sign Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes in January.
The 24-year-old was linked with a £40 million switch to Tottenham on transfer deadline-day but Barcelona pulled the plug after failing to sign Philippe Coutinho, according to The Daily Mail’s transfer blog on August 31.

The former Valencia man confirmed to A Bola last week that he does have “options” to quit the Catalan outfit in the winter.
And Spurs seems a probable destination at the moment after Tuttomercatoweb reported that Gomes – also tracked by Manchester United and Juventus – is “more and more likely” to be approached by the North Londoners.

Gomes, whose contract at Camp Nou does not expire until 2021, has made five appearances for Barcelona this season but all have come from the bench and it seems likely that his long-term future does not lie in Catalunya.
