According to FootMercato, Mauricio Pochettino has spoken to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli about a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
Pochettino has recently been appointed as the manager of PSG, and the Argentine reportedly wants to sign Alli for the French club, having worked with the England international midfielder when he was in charge of Tottenham.
The report in the French news outlet has claimed that Pochettino has already been in contact with Alli, and that the 24-year-old himself is keen on a move to PSG.
Leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Paris Saint-Germain
Alli is struggling for regular playing time at Tottenham at the moment, and it is hard to see the former Milton Keynes Dons man change head coach Jose Mourinho’s mind in the coming weeks and months.
According to WhoScored, Alli has made one start and three substitute appearances in the Premier League and has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Europa League for Spurs so far this season.
A move from Spurs to PSG, who are aiming to win the Ligue 1 title and the Champions League this season, would make sense for Alli.
