Tottenham Hotspur do not want to pay the £30 million fee for Swansea City’s Alfie Mawson.
Tottenham want to snap up Mawson, who they feel could enhance the quality of their defensive options.

The centre-back has impressed during his first season at Swansea, and coped with the step up to Premier League football well.
Mauricio Pochettino believes Mawson has a hugely bright future, and wants to bring him to Spurs.
However, Swansea are asking for £30 million for the 23-year-old, and Spurs consider that fee to be too expensive.
As a result, Tottenham are planning to offer Swansea the use of Onomah for a season, in a hope that the Welsh side will be more open to accepting a reduced fee.
Onomah is very highly regarded, but may struggle to break into Tottenham’s team over the upcoming campaign.
