Tottenham Hotspur are willing to further break their wage structure if required.
Tottenham Hotspur agreed to pay a six-figure weekly wage for the first time earlier this season, when they handed Harry Kane a highly paid new contract.
Kane landed a £100,00 per week deal, with Tottenham hoping it is enough to keep him at the club long term.
Now The Mail report Spurs would consider paying as much as £150,000 per week to a player, if they felt the individual concerned was worth it.

The report states: “Tottenham are on a firm financial footing and there is a willingness to push their wage boundaries further. If Levy feels a player warrants £150,000 per week, the belief within the club is that he’ll pay it.”
It adds that incoming wealth from selling the rights to Tottenham’s new stadium will help towards this, along with a huge desire to keep pace with Europe’s elite clubs.

For a period earlier this season summer signing Moussa Sissoko was the club’s highest earner on £95,000 per week.
That is now Harry Kane, but their willingness to take an even further step opens up a realm of possibilities for future signings.
There are two players already at the club who are potentially worth the money – centre-back Toby Alderweireld and midfielder Dele Alli.
Alli currently earns £55,000 per week and Alderweireld £52,000.
Both are integral to Tottenham’s current and future success, and would be worth raising the bar further for.
