Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked to Bruno Fernandes.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on alert over Bruno Fernandes’ contract talks with Sporting.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola report Sporting’s talks with Fernandes and his agent have reached an impasse.
His current contract runs until 2023, but Sporting wanted to offer him a new deal.
Sporting president Frederico Varandas told the club’s official website back in September he felt Fernandes had earned a new deal.
He said: “His contract will be reviewed because he deserves it, he has deserved an increase, also because it will be an example to the whole world. That’s how I work: if you give me, I’ll give you. We all agree: agents, players and club.”
So far there is no agreement. A Bola‘s report claims Fernandes held a meeting with Sporting about his future at the time, but has not received an offer.

Spurs were linked with Fernandes in the summer and held talks with Sporting over a transfer. The Evening Standard reported that Tottenham offered £58 million, made up of instalments and add ons, which the Portuguese club did not accept.
It is possible they might decide to move again if they sell Christian Eriksen ahead of his deal expiring next summer.
While Fernandes’ mooted new deal remains on hold, he remains in play as a potential option for Tottenham.
