Real Madrid are ready to get creative in their attempts to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.

Real Madrid are prepared to offer Tottenham Hotspur their choice of three players in a €200m (£177m) package for striker Harry Kane, according to Diario Gol.
The Spanish report understands that Tottenham’s valuation of the lethal goalscorer has become too high for Real who are lining up a player-plus-cash bid instead as they seek an upgrade on Karim Benzema.
Diario Gol claims that Spurs could have either Gareth Bale or Luka Modric back as part of the deal, or take a punt on 23-year-old Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Kovacic would be a viable option to replace the injury-prone and ageing Mousa Dembele, but Tottenham’s need is not great enough for this type of deal to be appealing.
While the prospect of Bale returning to North London might excite Spurs bosses, even that should not tempt them into selling the irreplacable Kane, whose worth to Tottenham goes beyond any plausible transfer fee.

The 24-year-old set a new Premier League record for goals in a calendar year in 2017 with 39, and outscored Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo with 55 for club and country.
Should Kane leave, other Tottenham stars and manager Mauricio Pochettino may want to follow and that would jeopardise all of the progress made at the club in recent years.
