Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have joined Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the race for AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu, according to CMW.
Tottenham Hotspur linked with AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte wants to take Kalulu to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the January transfer window.
Defending Serie A champions Milan value the 22-year-old defender at €50 million (£44 million) and are open to letting him leave for Spurs, if they are able to bring in Japhet Tanganga in an exchange deal.
Former UEFA Champions League winners Milan have wanted to sign Tanganga since the summer of 2022, and the Rossoneri are reportedly willing to sit and strike a deal over the two players.

Competition for Newcastle United
Tottenham’s interest in Kalulu and Milan’s willingness to sell him to the North London club will come as a blow to Newcastle.
That’s because the Magpies have also been linked with the French youngster.
Back in October 2022, it was CMW who claimed that Newcastle are following Kalulu and could make a bid for the Milan defender in January.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
Kalulu has made 10 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A and has played six times in the UEFA Champions League for Milan so far this season.
