Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Everton are among the clubs being credited with interest in Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand.
The Sun reports Bertrand is set to quit the Saints, regardless of whether they stay up this season, sparking a ‘£25 million scramble’ for his services.
And it’s claimed that Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton could all offer escape routes – along with Manchester United – after interest from Manchester City ‘waned’.
According to the Sun, Tottenham could turn to the England international if they lose Danny Rose to Manchester United, while Newcastle – who could lose Chelsea loanee Kenedy on top of Massadio Haidara this summer – and Everton – who are short of competition in Leighton Baines’ position – are already keen.

Bertrand – who the report claims earns £80,000-a-week at Southampton – moved to St Mary’s from Chelsea after Luke Shaw’s sale to Manchester United three years ago, and has won 16 caps for his country.
Would Bertrand be a good signing for Tottenham / Newcastle / Everton?
