After months of speculation, Tottenham Hotspur could finally get their man this month.
Tottenham Hotspur’s chances of signing exciting Portuguese winger Bruma may have been boosted with Turkish Football reporting that Galatasaray are on the verge of signing his potential replacement.
The dynamic 22-year-old winger has long been linked with a move to the Premier League since exploding onto the scene as a teenager with Sporting Lisbon and, after a producing five goals and five assists in an impressive campaign in the Turkish top flight, he could finally be set to make the move to England.

Hurriyet claimed recently that Tottenham would have to pay around £17 million to prize him away from Galatasaray in the January transfer window and add a dash of maverick unpredictability to a squad already chock-full of talented attacking midfielders.
And Turkish Football claim that Gala are preparing for Bruma’s exit by agreeing terms with PAOK’s Dutch winger Garry Rodrigues, a ready-made replacement for the Portuguese in the starting XI.
Furthermore, the same publication adds that the Istanbul-based side’s hands are tied due to Financial Fair Play regulations. They were suspended from Europe this season due to their precarious financial situation and therefore would not reject a substantial fee.

This all points to the impending exit of a player who, as demonstrated during an erratic loan spell with Real Sociedad last season, has all the potential and natural ability to thrive in the rapid pace of the English game.
However, as is usually the case with young wingers, Bruma’s decision making and end product needs some work though his impressive statistics this season suggest he’s making strides in the right direction.
