The head of recruitment is departing the club after working a notice period.

Tottenham Hotspur may not directly replace head of recruitment Paul Mitchell, reports the London Evening Standard.
The report claims that Spurs originally decided to replace Mitchell, who is still serving out a notice period at the club, but have now had a rethink.
Head scout Steve Hitchen could instead report to Mauricio Pochettino, Daniel Levy and head of coaching and player development John McDermott when it comes to recruiting new players.
Tottenham Hotspur have made some excellent moves in the transfer market in recent years, with the likes of Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama clear success stories.

But they have also seen some duds arrive and Tottenham fans will not want the recruitment process at Spurs to go downhill and more poor acquisitions made by the club.
If Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently second in the Premier League and in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, can keep signing Toby Alderweireld’s and not Vlad Chiriches’ then fans at White Hart Lane are set to remain happy with the recruitment system at the club.
