Tottenham linked with huge bid for Amadou Diawara.
Tottenham Hotspur have made a huge offer for midfielder Amadou Diawara, report Italian newspaper Il Mattino.
Reported online by Calcio News 24, Tottenham lodged an offer of 40 million Euros (£34 million) for the highly rated talent.

Diawara currently plays for Napoli, who he signed for in the summer from Bologna, with money gained from cashing in on Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus.
Tottenham’s enquiry is reported to have been rejected, with Napoli having no intention of cashing in on the midfielder so quickly.

Diawara, 19, is a defensive midfielder who was born in Guinea, and was linked in the summer with moves to Chelsea and to Aston Villa, by The Sun.
Tottenham’s reported interest comes as a little of a surprise given their multiple options in defensive midfield already.
Spurs have Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, Moussa Sissoko and Mousa Dembele all competing for positions, and Diawara would not have walked straight into the first team by any stretch.
