Tottenham Hotspur have made an approach to sign Bordeaux sensation Malcom.

Tottenham Hotspur have made big money attempt to try and sign Bordeaux attacker Malcom.
Malcom, 20, signed for Bordeaux from Corinthians earlier this year, and the forward has gone onto become one of Europe’s most in demand players.

Manchester United and Arsenal are both reportedly interested, but it is Tottenham who have made the first move.
Bordeaux reportedly have the stance that selling Malcom this month is only a ‘remote possibility’.
Malcom has scored nine goals for Bordeaux this season and has four assists to his name.
He plays on the right wing, and is it no secret that wide areas have been a weak point in Tottenham’s armoury that they need to strengthen, and failed to address in the summer.
This reported bid is a sign of their intent to sign players in January, although it is unclear if they will return with a second offer for the South American.
