Tottenham Hotspur fans have become used to seeing some of their best players leave in recent years. The likes of Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Dimitar Berbatov have all moved on in recent times.

Spurs will of course not be expecting to see any of their stars leaving right now, after a brilliant season last term and Champions League football this.

However, it has not stopped a team from trying – according to reports in Italy.

It is reported by Sky Sports Italia that Napoli have made a move for the player this summer.

Napoli are after a potent goal threat after the departure of Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus this summer. They have snapped up Polish international Arkadiusz Milik from Ajax, but he is more of a creator, Napoli want a goal-scorer of Kane’s ilk to help them battle for the Serie A title.

But, as you might expect, this offer has not been welcomed by Spurs. The report claims it was immediately rejected by the club, who are not willing to entertain the idea of selling Kane.

The England international is seen as a future Spurs legend and his sale would leave fans in a state of disbelief.

Spurs will now be hoping Kane finds his best form this season and can fire the club to domestic and European success.
